CIRIN
has embarked upon a mission to play its role in making Pakistan
self-sufficient in vaccine production. The company has a phased
policy to achieve the objective on war footings. In the first phase,
imported vaccines from world renown vaccine producers, are to be
introduced as finished products. In second phase, vaccine filling
facilities are to be established, and in the final stage, complete
transfer of technology is to be attained.
There are number of quality vaccines (of frequent use) are in the
offing - however the recently launched Abhayrab® (Rbies Vaccine) is
available across Pakistan.
